Coffee stains, plaque build up, the dentist asking you why you're teeth aren't shiny pearls; it's frustrating is it not? Well don't fear, Liv is here!
Here are some tips on how to get a whiter smile!
1. Brush your teeth!
You really can't have a nice white smile without brushing your teeth...and it's not very healthy if you don't brush at least 2 times a day. Brush them in the morning and again at night! Brushing them after you eat lunch isn't a bad idea either.
2. Mouthwash!
Since I got my wisdom teeth out, I've started to use mouthwash a lot more. It effectively cleans germs, kills plaque, and keeps your breath smelling fresh! You should gargle with mouthwash for at least 30 seconds.
3. Eating!
Try to avoid foods that easily get stuck in your teeth. This is really important for people with braces! It's a pain to get out, and it takes away from your amazing smile.
4. Baking soda!
Try dipping your toothbrush in baking soda before brushing. Yeah, it sounds funny, but it really does work!
5. Drinks!
Don't drink too many flavored drinks. The colors in them often create marks/spots/stains on your teeth. Plus, most of them really aren't healthy for you.
6. Correct Toothpaste
Use a toothpaste that's right for you! If it's too "spicy" or the flavor makes you want to throw up, don't use it. This will make you cringe and not enjoy brushing those pearly whites.
7. Singing Toothbrushes
Yeah...this sounds really little kid-ish, but I have a One Direction singing toothbrush. Don't laugh! The song plays for two minutes and helps me brush for the recommended amount of time. I can rock out and brush my teeth at the same. Try not to be jealous okay? Haha. They work!
