Hey everyone!
Hope your Thursday is going well!
Have you ever heard of transparent shirts? (No you can't see through them!) They're super cute, and really fashionable! I'm planning on making my own this summer. Below you'll find steps to make one.
1. First gather all of the following supplies: a plain t-shirt, transfer paper, an iron, a printer, and a flat heat-resistant surface.
2. Print your transparent out on the transfer paper. There will be instructions on the plastic that the paper comes in telling you how to use it. You can find a lot of different transparent images by googling "tumblr transparent". Or you can go on tumblr and find them. Whatever you prefer.
3. Once it's printed out, wait about 8 minutes for the paper to dry. Once it's dried, peel off the back. It may be hard, but try to get your fingernails under it; that will make it easier.
4. Place the part of the paper with your transparent on it on your shirt, then iron it on. You may need to experiment with this step.
5. Now you can wear your shirt!
(Optional steps!)
6. If you want to make your shirt even more awesome, you can cut it! Try it on and see where you would like your shirt to be cut. (By cut I don't mean slicing it in random places, I mean adding fringe or cutting the sleeves off.) Take a pencil or chalk and draw lines where you want to cut your shirt.
7. If you want to add knotted strands, cut the bottom of the shirt. (Leave the pieces attached to the shirt, just cut the bottom into strips!) Once you've done that, tie the strips; however only tie strips with others from the front of your shirt. Same goes for the back. If you tie pieces from the front and back together you'll tie your shirt together and you won't be able to wear it!

Have fun! Leave a comment if you want to try this or have any questions about it!
